The ferry that waited

Episode twelve started as a story about a missed boat. The ferry sat at the dock for twenty extra minutes because a truck of bread was late, and nobody on the ramp seemed surprised.

We talked to the deckhand who held the gate. She said the schedule is a promise the weather edits, and the bread is just the excuse people can see.
